Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Central Maryland (ASAP - Ongoing)
We are seeking a qualified and board-eligible or certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Annapolis, MD. Position Overview:
- Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
- End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment until October 10, 2024)
- Practice Setting: Outpatient (No inpatient duties required)
- Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Procedures: Urology-focused procedures requiring general/MAC anesthesia
- Patient Load: Approximately 8 patients per shift
- Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (No call, no weekends)
- Provider Count: One anesthesiologist per location
- EMR System: Cerner
Key Requirements:
- Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Maryland
- Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Privileges: Provider must be able to obtain temporary hospital/surgery center privileges quickly
